Biograffiti is your own work of art: a bespoke drawing that tells the story of a life though its most memorable moments, created for you or someone you love. Each artwork is an intricate tale of stories, places and objects, narrated through carefully drawn images.
If you are looking for a meaningful present to celebrate a milestone, birthday, life event, a Biograffiti will show how much you care and know about the other person: it's a biography through images, mysterious like a tattoo and beautiful like a graphic novel.
How does it work
When you book your drawing, you'll receive your Biograffiti #number. Three recurring elements appear in each drawing: a flower, a whale, and a star, which symbolize love, knowledge and perspective, to create a link between all individual artworks in the series. Each drawing is completely unique and bespoke, based on the information and pictures you will share with me via mail or phone: childhood memories, funny stories, favourite albums, sports, passions and everything else a life is made of.
What will my Biograffiti look like
Each illustration is drawn by hand, directly in ink with waterproof archival Sakura Micron fine liners on high-quality Arches paper.
You won’t receive a draft to approve, but you can head to the gallery to see all the Biograffiti created so far and decide if you like the style. You can choose to see the drawing while it's been created, or keep it as a surprise.

Gift Box
Each Biograffiti is beautifully gift wrapped and sent in a magnetic gift box with golden logo, and it comes in a protective plexiglass frame.
Timing
I can work on 2 commissions per month and my calendar fills up in advance. Each drawing starts with an in-depth study and editorial plan. I then collect relevant images and create a map of the drawing, to visually see its plot. Only after a few days of research, the drawing phase can begin. I draw by hand, directly in ink, and each element needs to be thought through carefully, as it can't be deleted, only transformed.
